What about the story about the unknown dog which came home to us when we were kids with a huge and heavy basket full up of all kind of vegetables and fruits and placed it right in front of our front door, the near market was at least 7 blocks away and I just can´t imagine how this normal built mixed race dog had the power to pull all that wight!

Ever since that very day, this amazing dog never left me alone, he used to follow me to my school and wait outside the fence all those hours from morning till lunch and then back again until 4 pm!

I was just fed up with him as he used to chase after my peers while playing in the park in order to protect me which wasn´t that fun for the ones who got this "caring and protective"  dog after them...

As I used to jumped from the second floor window to get away with out permission, the dog used to place himself right at the spot that I was supposed to fall...And there I was...Hanging from the roof and people watching the embarrassing and nightmare like situation!

I just can´t remember the end o that wonderful story!

This dog was most of the time as I felt it, on my way sabotaging my life as I was 12 and playing the entire day in the park was the best I knew while my parents and specially the dog were not that convinced about it!

This happened in Sta. Barbara (Bogotá Colombia)..I miss you guy! where ever you are!

Once an animal lover, forever one! I remember the time I was phoned at work , by my little sister who amidst tears and sobs, told me to get back home as a street dog had been taken to the pound. I did exactly as she asked and got home to find our beloved street dog Jimmy gone because one of the residents had phoned the authorities.

Making a few phone calls, we , a little batallion of 6 over to the pound and paid a fine to bring home Jimmy! She was a mixture but such a sweet darling of a dog...with soulful eyes. God Bless all those who work for these animals.
