Spanish Military Makes Hand Sanitizer and More to Protect Compatriots from Covid-19
A sterile, nondescript military base just outside Madrid normally produces pharmaceuticals for Spanish troops posted abroad. Now it's manufacturing just two things: paracetemol (i.e. Tylenol) and hand sanitizer. Across Spain, soldiers are patrolling streets, delivering beds to homeless quarantine shelters and sanitizing trains and bus stations that still carry thousands of Spaniards to their jobs.
