When he was 10, Kevin Ease had brain surgery for a tumor that was causing double vision. Dr. Phillip Storm operated on him. Now, Ease works as a clinical research assistant alongside Dr. Storm studying pediatric brain tumors. “Talking to the families has been awesome and I think that’s kind of the firsthand feeling like you’re making a difference…Talking to the families, I think it does help if they’re on the fence about the research, I can point to myself and say, you know, ‘I also went through this situation.’”
