An 11-year-old student from Missouri, US, is raising money to pay off his classmates’ lunch debt. “It’s important for kids to eat. I don’t think they could make it through the day without eating a school lunch,” said Daken Kramer, who has undertaken the task of raising money to help with the unpaid lunch debt at his school. Officials with the Blue Springs School District said that all kids have access to school lunches, but said that’s led to a lot of unpaid school lunch debt. For Kramer’s school, that amounts to more than $3,000. The youngster has raised about $560 so far. “People like me should do stuff like this often,” Kramer said.
