A custodian at a northern Virginia high school was stunned when students raised more than $21,000 to get him a shiny new Jeep for his birthday. Francis Apraku. a custodian at James Madison High School in Vienna, Virginia, moved to the US a few years ago. “Ever since we met Francis he has been super kind and friendly and sometimes even says prayers for us,” said Bennett Hibshman, 15, who led the initiative with six friends. Within 48 hours, they’d raised $5,000. Local businesses like the Vienna Inn, Terra's Ice Cream, Coffee, & Sweets and Rodi Salon helped; so did the students’ parents.
