Carlos Valdez lost both his legs in a boating accident when he was nine. But in 2023, as a sophomore at Briggsdale High School in Colorado, he joined the football team and set the internet on fire with one touchdown catch. The Otis Telegraph caught up with him now. Last year, he wanted to become a neurosurgeon at Children's Hospital Colorado. But now, having been asked to speak to the kids at a local elementary school, he wants to pursue public speaking.
