Indian and Pakistani Soldiers Exchange Sweets on Eid
Last Thursday, May 13, on the Line of Control (LoC) between India and Pakistan, soldiers exchanged sweets with one another to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr. In February 2021, the two countries agreed to a strict ceasefire along the Line of Control, and leaders believe gestures of good will like these will help build trust between the armies.
