Jackie Dean's mother passed away in January at ninety years old. Her mother, Mildred Burnham, loved to drink a warm cup of caramel macchiato from Starbucks. As Jackie was planning her mother's funeral service, she needed to step outside. She went to the local Starbucks and ordered two cups as usual, one for herself and one for her mother. Realizing the mistake, she burst into tears. The barista, noticing her grief, kindly comforted her and told Jackie she did not need to pay. She drew a small heart on her cup.
