The sign - it elicited EMPATHY and therefore was successful. When it asked for sympathy (compassion) it was ignored. In order to touch people, we join them whereever they are. I love that a common ground was pointed out "It's a beautiful day" and that no guilt was insinuated (like YOU can see it) only the truth...I can't.

I believe that everyone is capable of compassion and kindness...........but most people are caught up with their own lives.They have neither the inclination nor the time and energy to reach out to those who obviously face greater challenges.........it takes just one person to change all that and touch lives in significant ways. This is one of the most inspiring videos I have had the privilege to watch.Thank you for sharing it.
