Lovely, a Work of Art by Strangers in Chicago

In June, 2008, Amy posted a video on Youtube about 17 beautiful things she made. She invited viewers to meet in her in August of the same year to come meet her in Chicago to make an 18th beautiful thing. Watch this video to see the amazing turnout and the beauty that this crowd spontaneously created.
Be The Change

Watch the original video "17 Things I Made" that inspired thousands to come out and help collaborate on artwork with Amy and more here.

2

Help promote art, either by doing more of it yourself or encouraging others to do it.  Figure out ways you can contribute to the artistic community.

3

Art is meant to be shared.  Find a local art show in your area and attend.  Being out and showing support for artists in your area will strengthen and encourage art production in your area.
