Can a soccer ball transform the lives of a billion homeless people in our world? The Homeless World Cup thinks so. An annual, international street soccer tournament involving fifty countries unites teams of homeless people to take a once- in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent their country and change their lives. In Kicking It, a new documentary that follows seven such players, narrator Colin Farrell observes, "Through the simple and beautiful game of football the complex struggle to find meaning and purpose in life is being won by over 20,000 homeless people all over the world."
