Things we take for granted, like love & relationships!

When you are the only one with a handicap, sometimes you tend to think only of your issues. But when you realize others have the same handicap, you don't feel all alone or the odd man out.

The bigger meaning of this film is of the importance of not making assumptions about others behavior until you have the full story. Before you knew the boys circumstances the viewer may have had quite a few judgements about the boy and his lack of compassion for the dog, but once we see the boys situation, we have empathy and understanding for him. This can be applied to emotional wounds that are less obvious. Hopefully this film inspires one to stop before judging and inquiring and ask why? and whats wrong?

Humans can learn so very much by observing and developing relationships with animals-- such as unconditional love,
companionship and loyalty.

My son is a video game junkie, like the boy in the video. Like the boy, he found a bond with other living creatures, allowing him to return to the real "present". Loved the video and the boy/dog bond, despite "handicaps".
Laurie
The boy initially hated the dog because he represented the physical disability that he had. Eventually the dog taught the boy how to find peace with his disability and seek joy in his life.

Everyone has things they don't like about themselves. We can find joy when we accept who we are and love ourselves and our "imperfections."

The persistence of a young pup to have his master play, despite his disability. Very cute video!

The unfaltering hopeful persistence of the puppy that was determined to make his new boy play ball with him proved the value a faithful pet to lift the spirits of the little boy
Brian
I really liked the way the boy's attitude changed to one of considering involvement when he saw how enthusiastic the puppy was with the red ball and how the dog had invited the boy to play.
I think we all have to help others get beyond their preconceptions about disability by inviting them to 'play'.
