Taylor Mali uses his standup comic routine to praise the value of teachers. Referencing the American preoccupation with what a person "makes," Mali describes a litany of the things he -- as a teacher himself -- "makes." He concludes with the most important of all: "A difference."

Be The Change

This whole video got me to stand up and clap while I cried at how awesome this message is! I am a writer, illustrator, book-binder and self-publisher of a series of Gothic Victorian children's books. I don't do it for the money, I do it for the love of changing, encouraging and opening young minds. People ask me how much I make doing it; now I know what to say.

Great video! His enthusiasm can surely fire up anyone.
