Mary Reynolds began her career in Ireland as a formal garden designer, but soon she discovered the need for re-wilding gardens to give nature a chance to thrive in its full diversity and beauty. With agriculture and housing taking over more and more of the land, we can help turn things around in a hopeful direction - one person and one yard at a time -by restoring balance to the ecosystems we live within. Whether living in urban, suburban, or rural landscapes, each one of us can dedicate a small patch of the land in our yards to "going wild" - or what Reynolds calls ARK - Acts of Restorative Kindness. In this way, our individual action on a small scale can fight the growing fear about collpasing biodiversity worldwide.
