Selah: Water from Stone

"If you don't share, you will live a lonely life," says David Bamberger in this short film about how he transformed 5,500 acres in overgrazed Texas Hill Country.  While Bamberger was a tycoon with a successful background in business, he was first and foremost an environmentalist. His love for nature and for the land inspired him to buy the acreage 50 years ago with the intention of restoring the land to its orginal, primal bauty.  What was once barren, dry, desolate land is now host to 11 ponds, numerous wildlife and plant species, and an education center for young children to learn how to be stewards of the earth. Bamberger passed away in January 2026 at age 97.

Thank You for such a timely reminder of caring for Mother Earth and Her Creatures! If all or even some of the
1% of the Million or Billionaires or Trillionaires had this same care for Mother Earth & Life on Earth vs. making spaceships to go to Mars, Humanity & Nature would be thriving! Instead of dying! We would be cherishing our Natural Parks & the heros who championed their preservation. Instead, the current leaders in this contry (USA) and other leaders around the world seem to be only focused on their personal profits from inventions such as AI that distances us even more from nature & our own humanity!
