Alzheimer's is perhaps one of the most misunderstood diseases there is. It is often viewed as the end of one's life but this video shows how it could be the beginning of something new. Through the application of Validation Therapy, Naomi Feil compassionately communicates with Gladys Wilson, a woman that was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2000. When Naomi first met her, Gladys had completely withdrawn into herself, lost and isolated in the world of her scattered memories. Naomi was determined to compassionately guide Gladys back into the joy of the present moment. Through the aid of music and song, Naomi gently broke down the barriers of separation. The soft smile and girl-like glee that you will see in Gladys will light up your heart. It is also a reminder of the power of presence.

That Naomi showed such compassion and Gladys was reciprocal of it through Jesus

This is a VERY INSPIRTATIONAL VIEW of the wonderful response to hearing about Jesus and being reminded that Jesus is always with us because he always loves us and he wants the very best for us. What a lovely person Gladys is. She really showed that she "connected" to her visitor who reassured her, so beautifully, that Jesus is always watching over her.
