Tea in the Garden with Helen Stewart

This Friday, Feb 12th at 2PM-3:30PM PST, join us for a special conversation with Helen Stewart on Zoom. In the spirit of friends taking tea together in the garden, Helen will share reflections, stories and insights from her unique life journey. The first hour or so of the call will be in the form of a dialog with Helen and a moderator, and the last half hour will be open for listeners to join in with questions and reflections.

Helen Stewart is an artist, writer, teacher, printmaker gardener and storyteller. Raised in California, she studied and worked at UC Berkeley, later continuing her art studies in San Francisco and New York. After getting married she moved to a sheep farm in British Columbia in 1965. Helen is the mother of five children, and the author/illustrator of several captivating books. Her latest title is 'Drawn into the Garden'. in 1980 she moved with her family to a large and beautiful home in Victoria. Here she established a studio and began to vision and manifest the large garden which inspires much of her art work. You can wander through and wonder at a selection of her work here.
