Infinity Of An Empty Heart

Reading this beautiful story was a blessing today. Three days ago, my beloved 14 year old precious dog, Layla, passed away. It has left me absolutly bereft. The house is so empty, the yard is so empty, and most of all, my heart is so empty. Yet, at the same time, my heart is overbrimming and is so full of joyous, life affirming memories. At times, I feel as though I am going to be lost in the dark abyss. And then,, I hear the sound of a dove outside, calling me back to feel hope and life again.
