My generation (“boomers”) will always prefer human relationships and intimacy. I hope and pray the younger ones will as well.

Patrick, as a tail-end boomer, my own experience has been that they can enhance one another... and yes, I do think MUCH caution is called for, so that experiences with silicon-based intelligences do not compromise our ability to deeply relate with other humans...
