The idea of the "drill down" is what many writers find their own way of doing. I think that's part of the joy of writing and the discoveries that come from walking through the doors, even climbing out the windows that this "drill down" does, because it really does open all the avenues for you, is why writing is a way to know your mind on the path toward understanding your heart and your soul's journey.
