"Roadie" was a "stranger" and the Torah admonishes us to be mindful of strangers, to aid and not oppress or abuse them, because we were strangers in the land of Egypt, receiving there first hospitality and later oppression and we have an obligation because of that to aid strangers ... from my view point, two legged, four legged, no difference - The One With No Name gives gifts and blessings in all forms and at the time most opportune for His/Her/Its purposes ... by helping a stranger you may have unknowingly entertained an angel ...
