amazing - my husband and I were JUST talking about this issue this past weekend. I had just come in from a quiet morning of being up on a ladder cleaning the mold off gutters on the north side of the house, he was in the kitchen with his music blasting making a fantastic homemade vegetarian soup. I told him how I hardly ever (I am tempted to say never, but don't often use the word) feel resentful of the chores I do around the house, and he said he felt the same way. A couple of other examples: He never washes sheets and towels - he always does his own laundry and always makes the bed. He has never loaded a dishwasher and seldom hand washes dishes - he cooks dinner every weekday night and irons his own clothes. He never takes the garbage out - he does a good amount of the food shopping and always mows the lawn. We're really lucky - 20 years into our marriage, we made the distribution of chores work for us.
