precisely!
That's all good and fair, TooTalula.
Well look, I have nothing against Mia or Mohammed 'cause this story could've happened to anyone of us, and I've been through something similar as well. So, I truly empathize with them and I'm fully aware that there is a bright side to this story.
The problem is with how this story is presented and the message that it's portraying, by being published on a website such as this one. This article is basically stating what any reasonable adult knows is not the right way to act when confronted with a situation of conflict: to act on one's impulses, out of anger.
A much healthier message/lesson could have been something as simple as "it's better to be safe than sorry". Or something else... instead, by publishing this story, it's almost as if DailyGood is somehow condoning the use of violence or aggressive behavior, as long as we make up for it afterwards...
At least, that's my interpretation of it and I feel that is why others here too have expressed their outrage. Also, just for some other comment that I read here - just because some people have a different way of seeing or interpreting things doesn't mean that they are wrong or that they should feel ashamed!! Everyone has their own way of viewing the world, that's just the way it is.

It's Truth when it matches Reality, folks. Reality is understanding what is. There is no hopelessness in understanding. There is only hopelessness in making up fairytales instead.
