I had to laugh at myself when I reached paragraph 8 and realised I was doing exactly the things you wanted your students to avoid while listening. My mind was jumping all over the place from past experiences where I've used this game (on board a sail training ship) and how well suited it is to the classroom (and perhaps I should become a teacher...). I stopped and read it again trying just to read the words but here I am now blurting out my own story. Thanks for the insight :)
