Check this out.(link below )... and ponder that regardless what you are experiencing, there are many other folks like the ones responding to you that really care, wish you well and send you love....also, I was told a secret by my late brother before he passed away... we humans can turn something negative in something positive.... may be you can just try.... just a little.... to channel all that energy in helping others, even if it is something small and simple.... will help. Trust me.

Take one step at a time....you know what to do and you already started by sharing with all of us your feelings, good for you, you are courageous and you will do fine. Find the help you need, follow the advice form the team...

Even as a self-proclaimed atheist, he says, "And thank God we're still around to do it." Though this is a big contradiction, I thought this was moving nonetheless. One could say it's just a figure of speech, but what is the idea behind such a comment anyway?

I’m a Volunteer Team Leader at KarmaTube and noticed your comment on this video.

I felt the need to reach out to you right away. It was heartbreaking to hear about the thoughts that you have been having. I can only hope that it was a fleeting moment, and that you are able to pass through this tough time, and recognize what a miracle it is to be alive and that each of us is a gift in the world (although its difficult to see it at times).

I am glad to hear that the video was source of hope to you. The purpose of KarmaTube is to create a global community of kindness and compassion inspired by these curated videos. Dear Faye, hang in there! Rhiannon's advice is sound: call for help, or reach out to your loved ones. I'm sure Maurice also had his dark moments, and yet his advice was "Live your life. Live your life. Live your life." If you loved his books, I believe you must have also loved his message. I send you my very, very best wishes. May you be happy, may you be healthy, may you feel safe.

Faye I wonder if you know how many people there are in the world that want to love just for who you are right now. Please give me and many others the chance to love you as a beautiful being that you are. You are very much loved, just give us a change to let you know how much you are loved.

I've been thinking of ending my own life because I don't see the beauty or feel the love he does. I'm sad. This has helped me stay at least one more day. I've always loved Maurice Sendak's books, they made me happy reading them to my kids and at the school I taught. He's a wonderful person.

Terry Gross stayed her quiet moments, and Sendak fell into the silence feeling her love, and respect, inviting him to speak from his heart, and so he did. Such a moving time with one of our most beloved writers. The sketches were wonderful too. I was in a bookstore in Sausalito, CA, and saw a note that announced Shel Silverstein had passed away. I was instantly weeping. I take this oppotunity to weep for Maurice Sendak, who passed away last spring. Thank you.

Thank you so very much Christopher for making this. I too was driving to work on a seemingly busy day & had to pull over from the tears pouring down my face from this very part of the interview. As Frank McCourt, a favorite author and teacher said, "sing your song, dance your dance, tell your tale".
