Good article except for claiming ADHD is "real" when it's just a made up "illness" to push drugs on kids who are merely being.... get this.. kids. Kids are naturally attentive to what they like, and not to what they don't, my younger brother allegedly had this "illness" and had NO trouble focusing for hours on things he liked while hating school because it was boring. I got As and hated school too mostly sleeping in class, it was too easy and dumbed down, I guess I just missed the whole "illness" going around a few years later. ADHD is NOT real, just a symptom of a horrible environment(education system, society, etc.) that's not conducive to kids being taught the 1 way they are being taught, with no awareness of different learning styles or etc. Having energy is NOT an illness, and not having proper creative outlets for that energy is a symptom of the lack of any real responsibility or thought required to accomplish anything at modern schools or even in society for that matter. So, if kids have nowhere to burn their energy, of course they'll be hyperactive. And, if they have nothing worth paying attention to, of course their attention will seem to be at a "deficit." Wake up people.

I have to agree with you. I am a parent of an addict. I have always been there for him, love, and support and yet he has lied and stolen from me to feed his addictions. He will manipulate and take advantage of my love to get what he needs. If i don't step way back his addiction will also consume me.
