This really resonated with me. I've had many similar "discussions" with my son. It always seems like a power struggle. He's 18 now and barely talks to me anymore, but I'm hopeful that I can remember and use this sound advice: Identify the problem, offer a solution and help. I'm almost looking forward to trying this out.
