Some good points but I feel the writer of this article is unaware of his own biases based on what he has written. I think an accurate discussion of privilege needs to include a diverse collection of voices and be presented as one's own personal thoughts, not rules to follow. Otherwise personal biases are delivered as if they apply to everyone and that may be harmful rather than helpful to others who find themselves in situations and experiences unfamiliar/unknown to the writer.

My experience too Eileen :In my own life's practiced experience of 90 years,
Wouldn't it be most effective if Primary School Teachers "Taught Kindness" by weaving it into each and every day's teaching of all subjects ?
Teachers, to be most effective at all education levels, should incorporate "Kindness" into their own lives communications, as a way to live.
