Maya speaks the truth, a smile lives on.....in my case some 74 years. I was in Burnside Connecticut on a bus with my grandmother. An older woman was seated facing me and she smiled at me in a way that said "you are lovely". I had never felt "lovely" and something changed in me in that moment. I am now over 80, this smiling woman is long since dead and never knew what her smile meant to a motherless child who felt ugly and awkward. But here I am, over 80 years old and still remembering her. Thank you wherever you are--I try to keep that smile tradition going...with the same authentic caring that I saw in your face so many years ago.

We are what we feel and think all day long. Change the contents of our mind and so too our views on objects, ideas, persons & events shall follow, good or bad.
