Thank you so much for sharing . It was extremely touching and moving . It was unbelievable to read that the United States federal Government had legislated a quiet apology to the whole Indian nation after all the sufferings especially the women and children at the hands of the white European settlers . This apology should have been a public one in the White House and all the chiefs of the Native American Tribes should have been there along with their families and should have been broadcast over all major TV networks like CNN , NBC . An apology is a plea for forgiveness for all the injustice done to the victims , in this case The Native Americans the original inhabitants of the United States . Had an enormous respect for former President Obama , but this action of his is a let down . This injustice to the Native Americans continue till today . The events at Standing Rock bear testimony to the fact . This injustice to the original inhabitants is a global phenom en and is there in all countries . What a crying shame and on top of it there is A United Nations Charter of Human Rights , to which all countries are signatory too . What an irony !!!!!!!!! .

No one can be perfect! But there are many levels between perfection and total ignorance. We can atleast try to get towards it as much as we can!
