The part about people coming out of terrible experiences “more fragile, softer, and a little slower” feels painfully true, and also strangely comforting. There’s so much pressure to turn survival into some triumphant story about strength, but softness after suffering is real too. Ra’s way of writing about grief, incarceration, love, and healing without losing tenderness is honestly incredible. “You are loved” sounds simple, but after everything she’s lived through, it carries so much weight. I guess that's the part of Chiron in Cancer https://chi-nese.com/chiron-in-cancer-the-wound-around-home-care-and-privacy/
