I'm thrilled to see that Service Space is sharing this piece, and hope Daily Good readers will share it widely. Although Dr. Ariyaratne's obituaries and media coverage during his lifetime attempted to depict his work through the lens of "news," his life and service through the Sarvodaya movement deserved far broader and deeper appreciation in many different "fields."
