Mom used to quote Jesus, 'It is more blessed go give than top receive.' Then she would ad, "But that doesn't mean it isn't blessed to receive." Those who want to give will have trouble if no-one is willing to receive their help. In the same way one might say it is better to be heard than to be listening.
