Llewellyn has in some ways captured the essence of our time in this hauntingly true evocation of the darkening that enfolds us. He captures the ecological destruction that continues apace and which will continue for possibly hundreds of years. I don't know about his sense of the timing of the darkening which, for me, is more of an eclipse of love bringing a deeply accelerated descent into inhumanity and the horror of precipitous soul loss on a vast scale. The cruelty against Nature and its exquisite diversity of beings is now being matched by an unfathomable cruelty to human beings. So it is that I believe that the intensity of this global collapse will continue to manifest in short order and create an unimaginable scale of loss and ruin. Then the sun of divine love will be unveiled and shine in human hearts with such intensity that a new experience of global oneness awakened by love will ignite the inner core of humanity. This may sound mystical, well it is, because it is the emergence of a new spiritual reality on Earth.
