I was told I was born with a cyst on my head that would have burst and killed me by the age of 3. My family says the surgery made me smarter. I had a design meeting at the World Trade Center Marriott on 9/11. My coworkers were watching from our 14th st. office window as I came out of the train when the first plane hit. I watched the second with them. My old metal Isuzu suv rolled over, close to a freeway overpass. I told myself this is how I die and I was OK. I landed upside down in the soft grass on the side of the road. All my stuff scattered on the roof of the car. I am grateful to have worked in service 17 years this month. Connecting with centenarians who become my best friends though I am not 50 yet. Life is LOVE, reciprocated when one remembers.
