No doubt about it. Top-down, taxpayer-funded, government bureaucratic programs offering mortgages to those with poor credit and less collateral, which others must qualify for by proving creditworthiness and by providing required collateral, results in lower community violence. I, therefore, propose we double-down on this strategy by simply giving homes to the poor and providing free home maintenance to the poor and provide free food and electricity to the poor as well as free transportation and healthcare to the poor and that we force others less unfortunate to provide their labor to build those houses for free (essentially slave-labor to build homes for the poor) because the poor have a human right to the benefits of the labor of others. We ought to place a legal limit on the annual income of those who risked their savings to build businesses or who sacrificed and delayed gratification to learn and acquire advanced degrees. We should remove incentives for achievement and reward a lack of achievement with largess at the public's expense. We are, after all, each other's comrades. It takes a community! As the Soviet Union declared... From each according to his abilities and to each according to his needs.
