Before the Classroom, There Was Presence

I so resonate with your words, Navin Amarasuriya! Having been a classroom teacher for many decades, I too realize, how significantly meaningful one individual in a classroom of students is. I emerge from a mother who was a teacher and we have two children who are teachers and they are married to spouses who are teachers. There is so much joy as well as sorrow to share in a community of teachers. And we do!
