This is such a wonderful article. I feel all inspired in this wonderful world of possibilities. Possibilities that bring out the best in people whose ripple effect is awesome.

If he has lived a good "humane" life, why not use his "resources" at the end. I'm giving my body to science for use at the end. I think it is different when you talk about lamb and veal. The bigger issue to me is how they live when alive and, of course, the impact on the environment as we raise more and more animals to eat.

If we had started out as vegetarians there would be no human race. That aside, I don't think this little guy will be eaten. He won the cattle lottery, got a name and is now non-food.
