Slow Down, ya move too fast... Truth. For me it was my first extended stay volunteering in Belize after I'd sold my home and stuff to create a literacy project there. Belize recalibrated me. Changed my clock forever. I stopped wearing a watch. I listened when the locals would shout after me. "White gyal, why you run?" I only thought I was walking. I slowed down. It was liberating! I was 100% fully Present with whomever was in my company. I took my time. I worried less and slept the best I ever had, even with the constant cacophony of roosters crowing and dogs barking. Yes, slow down and Enjoy. You have More time that you realize.

Hi Meg, I feel the suffering of you living in a constant state of stress and fear, which as you see is due to your fear of the unknown. Life is happening - it is out of our control. But what we can do is receive, be at ease with things as they are, rest in presence. There are many practices to support this - deep breathing, meditation, yoga, gratitude practice, self-soothing, mindfulness. All in support of peace and happiness... In love and support...
