This story made me cry. How amazing that our children teach us the best lessons! Yet I have unlearned these lessons as I go through my days, distracted by thoughts of my needs, my checklist, my to-dos. Gifts do come in all forms, but when they come from the heart, they should be cherished, no matter the monetary value or the lack of a special occasion. Thank you for this beautiful writing.
