Well said. My granddoggy just had an accident and needed his eye removed. My husband and I are on disability and could not afford the surgery. We got turned away several times by the hosp. and vets because we did not have the money up front. By the grace of a guardian angel, me granddoggy got his eye fixed. He is now recovering wonderfully and is back to his normal perky self. God Bless people who care.

I agree it was a nice gesture on the part of the people to offer to pay, but I would never ever spend $3000 on a pet. I've loved my pets like part of the family, but my kids and grandkids come first. That's part of my granddaughter's college education....and I will say that getting a new pet almost always saves the day when these things happen. You can learn to love a new cat very quickly without having to dispense your family's nest egg to save them.
