Thank you Cynthia for this well thought out response. I have a counselor who knows me and my past, and who, coincidentally, is named Cynthia. I see her next week and will ask about mind/body practice. And I'll read about Core Energetics. I do want to be rid of these feelings, or at least, learn to recognize,disempower them and live along side them.
