Congrats, noble mission! About two decades ago, my late mother was involved along with a group which used to rehab the girl children of the prostitutes. A daunting task with the innate hostility of vested interests. Diwali & Christmas parties were unique as the pimps and madams would orchestrate taunts and jeers at the social workers. However, some ladies would quietly ask for assistance. Once, at a family gathering, two young prostitutes came & touched the feet of my Mom and thanked her for rescuing their daughters.

Thank you, Carol. I hear you. I don't feel I know what will happen at my death. Vic promised that, "if he could, in any way he could," he would help me from the other side, especially at my death. That promise was made by a living individual from his deepest loving heart. What it means after death feels like a mystery although I know many belief systems and have lived a life surrounded by believers in reincarnation (including Vic). I'm comfortable simply holding the Mystery.
