It is also top of the "Happy Planet Index" http://www.happyplanetindex... which measure the efficiency with which a country converts ecological inputs (energy etc) into the well being of it's citizens. (They multiply a measure of well-being by average longevity and divide it by environmental impact) They must be doing something right,
