We learned back in the early 70's the effectiveness of empathy, genuineness and warmth as the critical variables for a positive, productive relationship. And that came from studies by Fred Fiedler out of the University of Chicago in the 50's! Why does it take so long to get research into practice?

Kristin Pedemonti, what is your Free Hugs sign? I vowed to give more hugs in 2014, and have been trying to figure out ways to do it.
