I hope you're doing better now! If not, find new friends, peers and neighbors.

You sound like an amazing human being. I recently re-read The Book:On the Taboo Against Knowing Who You Are. It is a classic and an excellent reminder of what is real versus what is illusion. A quick and unforgettable read as is The Untethered Soul. I/we all hear you, and feel what you are saying. Quiet desperation is a place we all know. I wish that you will travel through that land quickly and safely, pausing only long enough to see it in the rearview mirror. Thank you for writing.

Hi, JT. I sometimes have similar feelings to yours, but I'm 68 and I've learned a few things. The people we admire often think we are the successful ones. People who spend all their money on expensive things often have HUGE debts and no savings. Your kids would rather take a walk around the block with you every day than go on a fabulous vacation once a year. And if you can go to work looking forward to your day, and come home happy to be there too, YOU ARE A SUCCESS and your life is great!

Dear friend, you have opertunity to write a book or an article to a magazine, that will full fill your dreams and be successful. Try a diploma in journalism, with your good qualification ,that will change your life

I feel your pain. I can understand why you feel this way because I often feel the same. Our society seems to judge men on the money they have. Money equals success in the eyes of society. At least for men!
