Nyakangba’s Story

Currently working toward a Bachelor of Arts in Peace and Conflict Studies at the Catholic University of South Sudan, Nyakangba Nelson Poyo is a passionate young peace-builder and Youth Peace Ambassador who successfully completed Peace Journey, the Goi Peace Foundation’s educational program. His goal is to bring about change in communities by helping young people—who have been silenced by the fear of conflicts and involvement in violence—to regain their voices for positive change through dialogues and leadership training.
