Vicky Roy is a photographer whose journey has been shaped by resilience, discovery, and a deepening understanding of people and their stories. Growing up in challenging circumstances, he found a new direction through Salaam Baalak Trust in Delhi, where photography would eventually open up a world of possibilities. Over time, his lens has turned toward people whose lives are often seen through the narrow frame of disability, challenging assumptions about ability, identity, and belonging. His work reflects a shift from looking at people through the circumstances they face to seeing the fullness of who they are. Today, Vicky uses photography to invite us to question our own perceptions and recognize the possibilities that emerge when we learn to see one another differently.
