I have heard hope preached before as a positive indicator, but hope seems to contradict with the message of Eckhart Tolle, Krishnamurty, and others, who advise people to live in the now and concentrate on the present moment. Hope seems to be looking towards a future moment, while neglecting the present.

T hope doesnt mean not to live in the present---- Hope means-- deal with ur problems and believe that proper solutions will emerge--it teaches not to give up--continure -continue coninue to march forward
