You kinda proved how wrong you are, Ignaz died without changing anything, so why would he be credited with saving lives? Without Joseph Lister he wouldve been even more ¨unsung¨ which he deserves honestly for being such a useless figure that couldnt even tell people to wash their hands without falling over and dying like a little piss baby.

Linda, I completely agree with including Ignaz rather than Joseph Lister or those British small pox guys. Ignaz suffered badly for his discoveries, and we should be glad that the largest medical school in Hungary is named after him. I saved a billion lives, and that process is in the latest comment on this article. long but worth reading, especially if you can see the need for a new alternative branch of the United Nations to be located in Santa Fe, New Mexico!
